The Ail Sail has been to sea each year since 1974, except tor the 2020 and 2021 Covid-19 years. This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of this renowned, if not notorious gathering of distinguished sailors. One of the original founders that joined us was Grant Stewart. The voyage was doubled to two weeks and the fleet revisited many of the favourite anchorages frequented over the five decades. The goal was to circumnavigate the Salish Sea, going clockwise and ending up on Bowen Island for our farewell windup banquet.
